Boucles d'oreilles Superduo

Step 1 : 
String one 11/0 seed bead and one Superduo ­ total four of each  

Step 2 :
Move all the beads to the end of the thread. Tie a square knot to form a square. Then pass the needle through the upper hole of the nearest Superduo. 

Step 3 :
Add one 11/0 bead, two Superduos and one 11/0 bead and then go through the upper hole of the next Superduo. 

Step 4 :
Repeat the previous step three more times

Step 5 :
Now make the step­up. At the end of the row, pass the needle through upper hole of the last Superduo, then through one 11/0 bead and then through the lower hole of the first Superduo of this row. 

Step 6 :
Finish the step­up by passing the needle through the upper hole of the same Superduo. (Warning ­ you will now work in the opposite direction)

Step 7 :
Add one Superduo, two 11/0s and one Superduo. Go through the upper hole of the next Superduo.

Step 8 :
Add two Superduos and go through the upper hole of the next Superduo

Step 9:
Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you reach the end of the row

Step 10 :
Then do the step­up. When adding the last pair of Superduos, go through the upper hole of the last Superduo and then through the lower hole of the first Superduo of this row.

Step 11 :
Then pass the needle through the upper hole of the same Superduo.

Step 12 :
Add one 11/0 and go through the upper hole of the next Superduo.

Step 13 :
Then add one 11/0, one 8/0 and one more 11/0 and go through the upper hole of the next Superduo.

Step 14 :
Add one 11/0 and go through the upper hole of the next Superduo.

Step 15 :
Add three 11/0s and go through the upper hole of the next Superduo.

Step 16 :
Repeat steps 12, 13, 14 and 15 until you reach the end of the row.

Step 17 :
To stabilize and flatten the shape, repeat the previous row (steps 12 ­ 16) one more time.

Step 18 : 
Tie a few half­hitch knots and cut off the thread.

Step 19 :
Open a jump ring and pass it through one of the 8/0s in the corner of the mandala. Then add an earwire. Optionally, you can pass another jump ring through the 8/0 in the opposite corner and add a bead on a headpin or a small pendant.
